1. Will other handlebars fit my Excelsior-Henderson?
Yes. One style that we know of is the Flanders bar sold through Drag Specialites dealers. The part number is DS-300114. If you want to check out other bar manufacturers, our bars are 1" with 3-1/2" center to center measurement.

2. How many Super X motorcycles were built?
As far as we can tell, there were 1,952 motorcycles officially built by the factory. After bankruptcy was announced in December 1999, several other Super X motorcycles were completed and sold by EH Partners. While these are Excelsior-Henderson motorcycles with VINs, those building them often placed whatever sheetmetal was around on them and cannot be considered as built by the factory. Our best guess is that there are 10 or so of these "bankruptcy-built" bikes.

3. What is the significance of a "Road Crew" bike?
Road Crew bikes are standard Super X motorcycles that were purchased by factory employees. These are designated with a special VIN call-out of RCX instead of the standard HCX. This special designation has the potential of making these bikes more valuable in the future because of their rarity.
